First adult belt in Tang Soo Do

We were told when Evan was getting his half orange belt that this is the first adult belt.  Good job but there's more work to come.

8 year old stats

7 year old stats were never officially taken, probably because we had just moved.  But this year we're back on schedule.  Evan is 53" tall and 55 lbs.  This keeps him in the 90th and 50th percentiles respectively. 

Election 2016

The tv news mentioned Donald Trump.
Evan:  Is he the one who wants to build a wall to keep the brown people out?
Dad:  Yes
Evan:  Are you going to vote for him?
Dad:  Probably not
Evan:  Good, because I like J (his African American friend) and I don't want him to go away.

On a completely different topic, Evan has decided he likes Justin Beaver.  Now Mommy gets to hear "Baby"  played on the car stereo.

Trying some new activities

We are very lucky to have great park districts with so many activities.  The ice rink was a short drive away and the roller rink is an even shorter drive away.  The martial arts is called Tang Soo Do.
