I'm 100% boy

Evan is showing us what happens when your face meets the sidewalk. He was pushing a car like he does at home all the time. Uneven sidewalks aren't quite as smooth. Mommy actually heard the skull clunk on impact. All's well and Evan was more than happy to drive the fire truck a few days later. Currently, he's obsessed with all emergency vehicles.

Labor Day '10

Evan enjoys petting zoos much more now. He's not scared at all and when the animal run around he screams with excitement.
We also discovered the joy of playdough, or at least the new version of it.
And of course we couldn't miss the train ride.
We ended the evening with rides. Evan's favorite was the motorcycles.
Evan even tried the roller coaster for the first time.

Gamma and Gampa come to visit

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit over a lovely summer weekend. We went to the trolley museum which to a 2 year old is going to see "choo choos". We were surprised that there was no actual building with displays, it's really just the 10 minute ride. Next time, we'll have to get the unlimited ticket because one ride was not enough.
Here is Evan on the "boose".

Trains!

Look, he's using the train table for...trains! We went with the wooden Thomas the train set. We've had them for 1 week and that's all he wants to play with. The world of Thomas toys is vast. Ebay has come through for us to get good deals because buying new ones could bankrupt us. It also works well when you want particular engines. Here, Evan is showing us his knowledge of the engines names.

County fair 2010

We made what is becoming an annual trip to the county fair. It was exactly the same as last year but Evan can interact much more. Here's the corn pit above. The fishing game, below, was a huge hit.

Random summer fun

Too bad the lawn mower doesn't actually work. Notice the attire, who needs clothes to work outside. Speaking of no clothes, young Evan was letting it all hang out.
Here comes more summer fun, Evan still likes the carousel, big surprise.

4th of July fun

Uncle Reid and Aunt Suzie came to visit for the long holiday weekend. He's the young man enjoying the 4th of July parade looking too cool. We also went to the local festival that had it's share of fried food and rides. Enjoy the clips.
