Christmas 2011

We spent this Christmas in Arkansas at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The pictures don't really need much explanation.

Evan again thoroughly enjoyed time with his cousins. It was no surpise that he had to look at every one of Josh's toys, Kinsey's toys didn't get much attention.

Here he is with the largest gift so it must be the best gift according a little boy's brain.

Here are the boys trying to figure out the Lego set that Josh recieved. It will be a star wars ship but they didn't get very far with it that day.

Grandpa's harmonizing confused Evan a little but not enough to stop.

Amazing how Santa knew that Evan loves "Nerbs", his favorite candy. His aerobed was right next to a window and he tried to watch for Santa. When he woke up he was sad that he missed him. Maybe next year.

Cookies!

Evan has been waiting to decorate cookies for months. He sees the sprinkles in the cupboard and would eat them out of the bottle if we let him. This year the cookies had a lot of red on them but I guess that's the decorator's perogative.

School program

The school program consisted of 10 minutes of class singing. Evan actually really likes to sing but apparently not with a group. He'll start singing at random times or along with a song on the radio.

Gingerbread house making

We did something new this year. It's a good thing this kit came with a lot of candy because much of it went directly into a little boy's tummy and not on the house.

Thanksgiving with the Kases

We had a lovely Thanksgiving with the other Kase family and took the opportunity to get a family picture.
