Santa came!

Evan wasn't interested in opening presents while they were sitting under the tree but once Mommy and Daddy started in on them, he helped.
We got so many nice things, thank you to the aunties, uncles, cousins and to Grandma and Papa.
Hmmm, does someone like Thomas?
Evan left a cookie out for Santa Claus, one he helped make himself. The next morning it was eaten all up.
We spent Christmas day with the other Kases. Erik showed Evan how to bowl, I think the jumping around says it all.

Getting ready for Christmas

We made cookies this year and Evan helped at all stages. Here he is using the cooke cutters for the first time. He may have gotten some flour on his shirt.
Here's the second shirt of the day, minus the flour. Apparently, Evan thought he should test the red sprinkles. Thank goodness they passed his taste test.
Posing with Santa did not produce tears this year like it did last year and you can interpret this expression yourself but to us it says "I'll sit on this man's lap but I really don't trust him. What's with the red suit?"

The first snow of the year

We officially had our first snow of the year. Evan got his first taste of shoveling but it only lasted a few minutes and then he had to help Daddy. It may have slowed Daddy down but he was helping.

Thanksgiving in Arkansas

We had a lovely Thanksgiving in Arkansas but not enough time. The weather was warm enough for us to take a walk and enjoy the fall colors.

Evan really had fun playing with his cousins. He keeps asking if we can go to his cousins' house and he points them out by name in pictures.
Fun uncle Reid!

It's so nice to have the family together.

Knock knock

The babysitter taught him this talent. The other one is apple but we didn't include it this day.
